Old School,
rebuilt tick by tick.
ClockworkRS is a faithful, from-scratch recreation of Old School RuneScape — built on a fork of RSMod v2 that tracks the live game's latest cache revision. Authentic tick behavior, real pathing, true mechanics. The engine turns; the world is being reassembled, gear by gear.
One game tick every 0.6s — and every one of them accounted for.
Honest numbers, tracked like XP
No vague promises. The engine is nearly done; the world is early. These bars are computed live from the same tracker we plan against.
Protocol, pathfinding, combat framework, interfaces, cache tooling — the machinery that makes Gielinor tick.
Quests, NPCs, skills, minigames, dialogue — the long grind. This is where the journey is just beginning.
Rebuilt from the ground up. Faithful to the tick.
Most remakes approximate. This one is machined to spec — mechanics verified against how the game actually behaves.
A Faithful Engine
Built on a fork of RSMod v2 that tracks the latest live cache revision (currently 239), with authentic tick behavior, pathing, and combat mechanics — not approximations.
The World, Reassembled
Content is recreated quest by quest, region by region, tested and verified against how it actually works on Old School — down to live protocol captures of the real game.
Built to Be Modded
A platform for custom worlds and community servers. A clean scripting surface and sane tooling are first-class goals, not afterthoughts.
The roadmap, journal-style
Green is done, yellow is in progress, red is not started. You know how this works.
Watch the gears turn.
Follow development, playtest early builds, and help decide what gets rebuilt next. Everything happens in the open — the code, the tracker, and the conversation.
